what is dtf?

DTF (Direct to Fim) is a printing process where your design is printed onto special transfer film and then heat pressed onto fabric. It produces vibrant, durable, full color prints that work on cotton, polyester, blends and many other materials. DTF is ideal for custom apparel because there are no minimum orders, excellent was durability and outstanding print quality.

how do i apply a dtf transfer to my garment?

STEP #1 - Prepare the garment. Place your garment on the heatpress and press 5-10 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles
STEP #2 - Position the transfer. Make sure straight and centered.
STEP #3 - Press using the following recommended settings
COTTON 300 - 320 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT
POLYESTER 265 - 275 DEGREES FAHRENHEIT
Time: 10 - 15 seconds
Pressure: Medium to Heavy
Settings may vary depending on your heat press.
STEP #4 - Allow transfer to cool until it is warm or completely cool, then slowly peel away the film
STEP #5 – Cover the design with parchment paper, butcher paper or Teflon sheet and press again for 10 seconds. This helps improve durability, gives the print a softer feel and create a professional finish.

how do i wash my garments?

   • Turn garment inside out before washing
   • Wash in cold water with mild detergent
   • Tumble dry low or hang dry
   • Do not use bleach
   • Do not iron directly on the printed area

how soon can i get my order?

Speedy is our name! Order by 10AM EST and eligible orders ship the same day or picked up.

how many colors can my dtf design be?

Unlimited!
One of the biggest advantages of DTF printing is that there are no color limitations. Your design can include as many colors, gradients, shadows and fine details as you want all without increasing the printing cost.

how long do transfers last in storage?

When stored properly DTF Transfers can last 12 months or longer before being heat applied.
To keep your transfers in the best condition:
   • Store in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight
   • Keep them flat
   • Avoid high humidity, excessive heat and moisture

what format should my file be? any resolution guidelines?

Your file must be a high resolution transparent background PNG, PDF, PSD, OR AI. Please send at least 300dpi resolution file for a higher print quality. It is your responsibility to check the quality of the uploaded file.

do you offer refunds or reprints?

At Speedy DTF Transfers, we stand behind the quality of pur DTF transfers and custom printing services.
Because all transfers are custom made to your specifications, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for customers submitted artwork, incorrect sizes, wrong garments or changes of mind after production has begin.
If there is an issue caused by an error on our part, such as a printing defect, damaged transfer or mistake in production, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with photos and order details. We will review the issue and if approved, provided a reprint.

   • Trademarked logos, brand names or graphics without authorization 
   • Celebrity images or other protected intellectual property without the necessary rights
